MICROPROCESSOR AND MICROCONTROLLER LABORATORY (IVSEM)
Objectives:

  • To provide practical exposure to the students on microprocessors, design and coding knowledge on 80x86 family/ARM. To give the knowledge and practical exposure on connectivity and execute of interfacing devices with

8086/ARM kit like LED displaysKeyboards, DAC/ADC, and various other devices.

SOFTWARE TESTING LABORATORY (VI)
Objectives:

Biography
Dr. DharmannaLamani., working as a Head of Department (HOD) and Associate Professor in the department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE) since August 03, 2009 at SDMIT, Ujire.  Earlier worked as Sr. Lecturer in the department of Computer Science Engineering from Nov 2007 to August 01, 2009 at East West Institute of Technology (EWIT) Bangalore. Also, he worked as Lecturer in the department of Computer Science Engineering from Nov 05, 2005 to Nov 01, 2007 at B.T.L. Institute of Technology Bangalore. He is having more than 12 years of Teaching and Research Experience and holds doctorate in Medical Image Processing. His dedicated involvement in R & D in Medical Image Processing (Glaucoma detection) and Big Data Analysis has been recognized through 30 publications amongst which 6 are Web of Science indexed, 5 are Indian citation indexed, 9 papers in refereed, indexed Research Journals and the few in indexed conferences such as IEEE, Springer, Elsevier etc. Moreover, as research guide 4 scholars are currently pursuing their research under his direct supervision. He organized Conferences, seminars, Faculty Development Programs and Short-Term Training Programs.  In view of sharing knowledge and serve technical community, he became the professional member of MISTE. As a part of Continuing education program, he has attended many training programs in reputed institutions like NIT and IISc.

Presently he is pursuing Ph.D in Computer Science Engineering under VTU Belagavi.He has published more than 32journals and conference publications including Scopus indexed journals. He is a life time member of ISTE.  He is an active resource person for seminar, workshop, training programs in the area of Computer Networks, Big Data and Machine Learning. He is enthusiastic working towards various responsibilities as a Chairman, Coordinator and Committee Member. He also has organized various Workshops, Faculty Development Programs and Conferences in the college.His research interests include Image processing, Pattern recognition, Computer Networks, Software engineering, Software architecture.

He received his M.Tech and B.E. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
